ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE & INVESTMENT CONFERENCE (California, USA)
July 19 @ 11:30 am - 11:45 am
Software is eating the world, and artificial intelligence (AI) is eating software. As AI pushes forward intelligent assistance to almost every aspect of our life, every company, and innovator.
As AI pushes forward intelligent assistance to almost every aspect of our life, every company and innovator want to be ready for its disruptive impact; and AI is surging in an unprecedented trend with the positioning of AI by venture capital and entrepreneurial innovations as next unclaimed treasure. If you’re wondering AI & investment booming, lessen what Silicon Valley elites are talking and look where the tech giants like Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Intel are putting their money.
We’ll be exploring it over two intensive days at 2017 ‘Silicon Valley-China’ Future Forum on Artificial Intelligence & Investment (SVFF 2017) that presents leading voices from AI ground over speeches, expos, and demos with a focus on Deep Learning, Autonomous Driving, Big Data, IoT, FinTech, and Investment.
Welcome to join this must attend event for investors, founders, scientists, engineers, students and other professionals. 1000+ attendees will come together to spark new partnerships and collaborations! We see a great potential of the forum to be a door opener for future and expect the beauty to come out of it.
Civil Maps Speaker:
“On Cognition for Autonomous Vehicles through Localization in 6D.”
Anuj Gupta (PM, Sensor Fusion)
Anuj is the co-founder and product manager at Civil Maps. He graduated from IIT Kharagpur in 2010 and started working with Fabien & Sravan, who he had met at UC Berkeley during his internship in 2008, with the aim to reduce train collisions and delays. This partnership resulted in a contract from Indian Railways to driver display unit for electric locomotives. A bigger market was being created in the US, one of the autonomous cars, and he realized that the vision based technology for trains can be applied to drive the cars autonomously. Anuj then moved to the US in late 2014 and started working with Sravan & Fabien to set up Civil Maps at Berkeley.
At Civil Maps, Anuj has lead teams to develop & deliver 3D Semantic Maps and Localization software in the last 12 months. He is now working on crowdsourcing the map information that will enable autonomous vehicle adoption at a continental scale. His vision is a connected world where autonomous robots work in sync to create an efficient world with increased quality of human life.
