Point Cloud Visualization Preview
Visualizing point-clouds can be challenging! This is the conclusion I came to a few years ago, when I got my hands on a 200MB point-cloud for the first time. Even though computing technology has evolved tremendously in recent years, it remains quite difficult/expensive to just direct a tool at a point-cloud and visualize it.
That’s why at Civil Maps we’re announcing our completely free browser-based visualizer! We accept laz and las formats, as well as files with the .pts extension.
